Imogen Bone is known for her contemporary acrylic painting but has also developed a range of prints using different techniques. The techniques she has used here is dry point etching, a form of intaglio printing. This involves incising a line into a block using a sharp implement, then inking the block, removing ink from lighter areas and using a press to take an impression. Imogen used her small, vintage press to create these pieces in her studio.
Originally from Scotland, Imogen studied at Falmouth School of Art before settling on St Mary's in the Isles of Scilly for ten years where she worked out of her studio at Phoenix Crafts.
