This Agapanthus-inspired fused glass dish is handmade by Oriel Hicks on the Isles of Scilly. It has been crafted using layers of clear glass together with pieces of coloured glass, creating her interpretation of the iconic flower which can be seen all around Scilly in summer.

Oriel has worked with glass as a medium for thirty years and is inspired by the unique light, colour and natural environment of her island home. She experiments with many different techniques and processes. Oriel is renowned not only for her fused glass but also for Tiffany, traditional leaded lights and etching and her work is constantly evolving.
Each dish is individually handmade so there may be differences between the one created and the image shown. We often have these bowls in stock but they are sometimes made to order. Please allow a few days for the dish to be made and let us know if you need the bowl for a particular date.
