The image depicts the uninhabited island of Samson in the Isles of Scilly. Anita exquisitely represents the rugged nature of the shoreline on Samson, with Bryher in the background.
She creates her unique, one off prints by carefully building up layers of ink and using the mark making she has developed over the years; each interpretation is different and she never knows exactly how the monoprint will turn out until it is complete.
