She began by working in a textile design studio and then went on to design stationery, giftware and toys before illustrating and writing books. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn more recent years she has concentrated on fine art after producing a series of paintings inspired by her love of the landscape and coastal areas of Britain. She uses acrylic paints for their versatility and depth of colour and collage to create texture.
