Caroline Gillett lives and works on St. Martin’s in the Isles of Scilly. Her studio is a modest shed in the garden of her home.
She and her husband also run the campsite on the island, so her summers are very busy and trying to find time in the studio is always a challenge. However, her lovely, sturdy pots arrive at the Tamarisk Gallery in the springtime, and are very popular with locals and visitors alike. Many feature little fishing boats or pot buoys as part of their decoration, and her colours are rich and vibrant.
